Jeremy and Renee Yates, along with their three children, own and operate Overflow Honey Co. LLC in Central MS. In 2017, their oldest daughter Addison got her first hive from Heartwood in Star, MS. That one hive was all it took for bees and our passion for beekeeping to grow. Over the years Jeremy and Addison have spent countless hours studying, researching and learning from mentors and from hands on experience. In 2024, the Lord blessed us with an opportunity to start our own honeybee business with the intentions of this going far beyond sales. It is our desire to encourage and educate new beekeepers, build long lasting relations while providing great service and share joy and hope with all those we have the privilege of meeting.
Also in 2024, we began selling honey, offering honeybee removal and swarm collection services, and we began renting a warehouse to store, package and sell basic beekeeping supplies. We also became the exclusive manufacturer of the original Freeman Beetle Trap.
Future Plans – We have a God size dream! In 2025, we plan to grow by connecting with more wholesalers who want to offer the Freeman Beetle Trap, set up at all the local vendor markets, and begin designing and planning for our gift shop.
The very name of our company represents the life we’re living, and we want to share those overflowing blessings with you.
It’s our desire to be a wonderful addition not only to our little community, but to all our beekeeping friends across the nation.
